LEADER JUDY COOPER DESCRIPTION

Please be prepared to perform some heavy lifting. If you’re unable to perform lifting tasks, notify staff. We do not want you to get hurt! Bring your own work gloves, if you have them. ReStore projects could be demo, painting, moving shelves and more.

LEADER DESCRIPTION

Assist with residents at the facility. Possibly organizing pantry or closets. This is subject to change based on identified needs.

Volunteers sort clothing/shoes donation at OCFC.

LEADER Titus Daughter Ministry JH DESCRIPTION

Circle discussion held with the young ladies of Vista Maria, a foster care home. Volunteers will also serve them lunch. Volunteer age 18+

LEADER Jaimilyn Blake DESCRIPTION

Volunteers will meet at Impact Church and assist in sorting and organizing donated clothing items for distribution to YVAC and Oakland County Foster Closet.

LEADER JUDY COOPER DESCRIPTION

Volunteers are needed to help sort and box donations! Warehouse sorting. Volunteers must be at least Ages 15+ (age 10-14 can attend with supervision). Must wear long pants & closed-toe shoes.

Volunteers will meet at Impact Church to sort and bag donated hygiene items that will be distributed to the underprivileged at YVAC or the homeless.

Volunteers will help in maintaining the grounds in and around the property of Impact Church. Tasks include PAINTING, ORGANIZING AND CLEANING. Please dress appropriately for these activities.

Youth Voice Action Collective (YVAC) Fund is a black youth-led organization dedicated to funding, empowering, and restoring faith for youth of color and their families. Through transformative storytelling, solidarity economy practices, and investing in alternative solutions, YVAC supports these communities in reaching their aspirations, meeting their basic needs, and challenging dominant systems.
